How to delete your account and data

You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time through your account dashboard. Here's how:

1. Sign in to your account at art.quietidiot.com/login.
2. Navigate to your Account Dashboard.
3. Scroll to the Danger zone section at the bottom of the right column.
4. Click “Delete account” and confirm the action in the dialog that appears.

Alternatively, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account, requesting deletion. We'll process it within 7 days.

What gets deleted immediately

• Your name, email address, and avatar URL
• Your password hash and OAuth provider links
• Your verification and password reset tokens
• All saved shipping addresses
• Your account record itself

What is retained (and why)

Some records cannot be immediately deleted due to legal and operational requirements:

• Order history — Retained for accounting, tax compliance, and business records. When your account is deleted, the link between your user and any past orders is removed, making those order records anonymous.
• Commission enquiries — These are received via the public contact form and are not linked to user accounts. They are retained for portfolio reference and may be deleted on request.

Payment records held by Stripe are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. Fulfilment records held by our print partners are governed by their respective privacy policies, which are available on request.

Data export

If you would like a copy of your data before deletion, email [email protected] and we will provide a machine-readable export of your account information, addresses, and order history within 30 days.
